About Us

The Bible Seminary (TBS) is an independent, non-denominational, 501(c)(3) charitable institution of higher education incorporated in Texas in 2010 to offer training for laity and vocational ministry professionals.

TBS Provost, Dr. Scott Stripling, appeared in the most popular 2017 espisode of the Travel Channel's "Expedition Unknown." In "The Ark Of the Covenant" (Season 3, Episode 12), Josh Gates follows in the footsteps of Indiana Jones as he searches in Israel and Ethiopia for the lost Ark of the Covenant, the sacred relic said to contain the Ten Commandments and possess extraordinary powers.
TBS Professor, Dr. Douglas Petrovich, appeared in one of the most popular 2017 Netflix documentaries. "Is Genesis History?" features over a dozen scientists and scholars explaining how the world intersects with the history recorded in Genesis.
TBS Adjunt Professor, Dr. Craig Evans, headlines the 2018 movie, "Fragments of Truth" addressing the question, "Can we really trust the Bible?" Skeptics say no, arguing that the Gospel manuscripts have been doctored to push a theological agenda. In this Faithlife original film, Dr. Evans takes this claim head-on, traveling the globe to track down the most ancient New Testament manuscripts. Along the way, he highlights groundbreaking new evidence, demonstrating that the case for the reliability of the New Testament manuscripts is stronger than ever.
